Giving Thanks To God

• For all who support the ministry and vision of FHLGM, including new supporters who have recently joined our team.
• God's gracious, encouraging, and healing presence as we taught, preached and ministered in Africa.
• For the help of Rev. Bolingo Kambere as he served alongside us as the FHLGM ministry coordinator in Congo.
• For productive exploratory meetings related to future ministry and teaching in Kenya, Rwanda and Congo.
• The successful translation of the Spirit-led leader student guide into french. We are especially grateful for the help of Judith Doré and Nicholas Burton who volunteered their time and expertise. The students were so grateful for such an extensive resource that they can use to teach others.

Current Prayer Needs

• Help for the pastors we worked with in Congo to put into practice what they learned.
• The most common prayer request we heard from theological students in Congo was for money to pay their school fees ($250 a year).
• Successful development of ASDI, a newly created ministry in Congo which addresses a wide variety of social needs (assistance for rape victims, widows, displaced people, job training, etc.)
• Selection by University administrators of the right Congolese seminary student to receive a scholarship created by FHLGM.
• Peace in the North Kivu region of D. R. Congo so that displaced people can return to their villages, rebuild their homes which were burnt down during the war, and replant their gardens so that they can have adequate food.
• Wisdom and strength for a secondary school chaplain, a FHLGM grant recipient, who is developing a holistic ministry that involves helping impoverished students.
• Individual and communal healing from traumatization caused by the Genocide in Rwanda and the war in Northern Congo.
• Follow-up work being done under the leadership of Rev. Callixte with 45 pastors in Rwanda to help them implement and further develop the action plans they created in November.Continuing vision and financial provision for these Rwandan pastors.
• Preparation for future ministries, especially the pastors leadership conference in Hungary and the retreat in France in April.
• God's leading of the right pilgrims to the Contemplative Pilgrimage in Chartres, France from Oct. 3-10, 2010. Help with creating a logo for FHLGM.
• Financial provision for the Myanmar Institute of Theology in Yangon, Burma as they seek money to construct the classroom building that is long overdue!

• Sufficient financial provision to underwrite FHLGM's winter's ministries in Africa, Hungary and France.
• Discernment and a clear sense of God's leading as we continue discussions with current and future ministry partners around the globe (Myanmar, Kenya, Congo, Rwanda, USA, France, Hungary).
• Wisdom for Tim and Jill as we speak on behalf of the ministry, sharing the vision in ways that connect effectively with others.
• Additional help with ongoing fundraising demands, such as research and writing proposals to churches and foundations.
• Help developing a logo for FHLGM.
• New donors and increased financial resources to underwrite the growing ministry of Faith, Hope and Love Global Ministries.
• Volunteer or part-time help for grant proposal research and writing.
• Completion of the redesign of FHLGM websites.

• Tim's French language training: goal is to reach professional competency to teach and coach in French.
• Provision of an agent to help Jill publish "What Was I Thinking?" A memoir about our family 500 mile walking pilgrimage on the Camino in northern Spain. Jill also needs help envisioning the next steps for various photo and writing projects related to making the Chartres Cathedral accessible for prayer.
• Wisdom for Jill as she works in Chartres on several book projects.
